- Hi Welcome to my blog! With so many people I wanted to share my travels with I thought this would be a perfect way. If in reading this blog you would like to share it with others, please do so. I am dental hygenist during the day and traveler when ever I can. I enjoy going to a different place and experience when ever I have a vacation break from work. I love to take pictures wherever I go and I have been to many places both here and abroad over the last 3 years. My big adventure for my birthday was to Yellowstone,Grand Tetons and Jackson Wyoming. I met a friend there who is on his own adventure. We camped and hiked in the park and some back country overnights. This was my first time with the backpacking overnights but my friend was a perfect teacher with his experience and patience. A little bit more about me....I am 54 and have raised my children thru college.I have recently moved back to my hometown of Winter Park Florida and am regaining many of my fond memories as well as making new ones! I hope to share my experiences and adventures with others in hopes to encourage us to go out there and see some stuff!

Saturday morning....
What is it about a Saturday when the sun is shining,breeze is blowing and the threat of rain is far away that makes us want to be outside doing play things!? I am not sure but I know that is what I have done since I awoke this morning at 6am. A brisk walk to the farmers market, coffee and a fresh breakfast was just the beginning. I dove into my book, pages and all, and before I knew it time had passed into the midmorning! A walk back home finds me getting ready to hit the bike trail before the afternoon rain. Ahh, Saturday morning...Saturday afternoon....what are you up to today?

Friends....that is what the greatest gift we have next to our children and family. having moved away from an area I lived in for the past 15 years, back to my hometown , I learned very quickly how much I miss my friends now and had missed my friends from the past. The laughter is genuine, the love sincere. They cannot be replaced these friends of mine. Always close to me in my memories and heart. Its why I take pictures.....

It's 2012! time has past and my blog has been a bit neglected....as have many other things. Sadly my traveling has now been limited to moving house to central Florida. But this is temporary, as are all things we have learned.
The last 3 years have been a challenge for all of us haven't they? I hope my posts will bring a bit of lightness and fun to me and you as a reader. Thanks for reading and posts if you care to leave one.
